It’s the Met Gala. Red carpet time to view this year’s Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations.
I love the intimacy of the latter photo amidst all the glam, the buzzing frenzy, the grandiose crowd, the sparkling dresses and bright flash bulbs.

1992 Secret Hearts Barbie Doll
On my teen years, my aunt gave me this doll as a gift. I’m not one for playing Barbie so I didn’t mind having this doll only in the latter years of my childhood. But, it interested me to play long enough trying to make hearts appear on the dress before I eventually cut its hair short.
Oh, and it didn’t come with a Ken doll. I think the doll is fine on its own, independent and sporting a bob cut. Just one of the vintage things I own.
